Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to help with the following:
Manning of Committee Desk
This involves giving information to participants (don't worry we will provide you with the information to give! :), calling water taxis & regular taxis for participants & their families, administering simple First Aid
Selling t-shirts
Selling our regatta t-shirts
To help with registration
Photocopying CSA Rating Certificates, help with collecting entrance fees, writing receipts, filing
To help set up Skippers' Briefing
Help get from storage, & set-up for distribution, all the goodies that are given to participants; help set-up chairs for Briefing;
To help with Race Results
Photocopying results for any participants that request them. Photocopying, & pinning up, results for official Notice Board
To help set-up prize-giving table
Arrange sponsors' branding on prize-giving table; help get from storage, & arrange on prize-giving table, trophies, prizes & other give-aways
As thanks for your help, volunteers receive:
- Regatta t-shirt
- Drinks throughout your shift
- Thank-you mementos from our sponsors
- Our sincere thanks (we are a non-profit organisation)
